Sounds of the Wild

One of my greatest joys in life is listening to the sounds of nature. In 2016, I began work as a natural sounds recordist to bring those sounds to everyone. I travel to national parks and wilderness areas around the country and world to capture nature’s finest compositions, living in the backcountry for days at a time. Using binaural and parabolic audio recording setups, I’m able to capture with perfect clarity the most incredible acoustic events. These recordings are featured on various park websites and visitor centers. My hope is to be able to continue to travel to our more remote wilderness areas to capture more of these moments to advocate for the conservation and preservation of our wildest places.
